The Photonica3 group was born in Italy in January 2009 to express three friends passion for the world of photography: Stefano Ciocchetti, Marco Gratani and Roberto Verolini. They experimented for several years with digital photography and shortly afterwards started to publish on the site www.photonica3.com their own work along with the ones from enthusiastic on the same subject. Since then Photonica3 started a growing involvement with exhibitions, excursions events and photographic outings becoming the focal reference point on a national scale. Afterwards Sergio Paparoni, Lorenzo Lambertucci and Luca Tambella sharing the same passion and special way to observe and illustrate the world joined Photonica3.

Lorenzo Lambertucci (1985) director of an IT company. Several years ago, while walking in the National Park of Monti Sibillini, he realized that he likes writing with light through the camera, and now it is his greatest passion. Over the years, he attended several training courses. He loves to travel a lot and spends whole days immersed in the silence of the wildest nature from dawn to dusk. He discovers that photographing is not just a matter of technique: you need patience, respect for the place you are visiting, and the desire to tell how much beauty there is in the world.

SERGIO PAPARONI

Sergio Paparoni (1977) is a company manager. He was born surrounded by nature in the countryside. He developed his early interest for photography in a true passion. After experimenting for a while, he specialized in nature photography. It fascinates him how simple it can be to escape from everyday life and feel at home immerse in nature. The goal and mission is to observe through his lenses the surroundings and share it with excitement and natural beauty.

MARCO GRATANI

Marco Gratani (1965) is a sales agent. His growing love for photography becomes a full time hobby, going from portraits to landscapes. “I think photography is a hobby able to communicate my emotions; in a picture I can freely express myself and my life with a whole range of colours and shapes. A perfect merging of actual world and the infinite magic of nature.”

STEFANO CIOCCHETTI

Stefano Ciocchetti (1986) graduated from computer science education. He is cultural heritage photographer specialist fascinated with the philosophy of lighting and devoting himself in communicating it throughout his work. Following his passion, he starts to research and explore the infinite aspects of the visual art. In 2014, his passion becomes his job focusing on the world of cultural heritage.

ROBERTO VEROLINI

ROBERTO VEROLINI

Roberto Verolini (1955) is a natural science teacher with passion for nature photography and portraits. What do I prefer to capture in a picture? What I see, listen to, perceive, and more deeply I love to capture the transcending of every single attempt, indescribable by words but capable to sum it with a profound silence just in that split second before and after the “click” of the camera freezing up that moment in time. Without any special emphasis he describes himself as a humble photographer aware of its own failures with plenty of room to grow.

LUCA TAMBELLA

LUCA TAMBELLA

Luca Tambella (1970) technical employee. A lover of hiking and the mountains, the camera was never lacking in his equipment. The documentary purpose of his photos has transformed over the years into true passion. He experiments with any photographic technique leaving greater interest in nature and landscape photography. “Every sunrise, every sunset, every storm, every season grants the eyes of the admirer unique and unreproducible snapshots, being able to capture these images is the greatest prize for every photography lover.”
